Plum Lip Balm Review!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing well and having a great weekend. If you follow me on twitter (if you don't click here ), you would have seen my tweet where I shared pictures of the lip balm I got and raving over how the lip balm smelled like the boomer bubble gum in watermelon flavor (which used to be my favorite). So in this post, I will give you guys my review of the Plum Candy Melts Lip Balm in melon bubble-yum. 

Before starting with the post, this is a quick disclaimer: I am not a skincare expert or a dermatologist and neither do I claim to be so. These posts are just meant for review purposes.

I purchased the lip balm on 7th of February and I started using it from that night. The lipbalm has a light pink colour just like cotton candy and the lip balm and right when you open the bottle the fragrance hits you. It is not unbearable but you might need a little time adjusting to it.

The lip balm comes in a small packaging. It is pretty cute not gonna lie and it is also very minimal and it creates very little wastage. 

The lip balm comes in a small 12gm plastic container and it has an expiry of two years. The lip balm retails on Amazon, Nykaa and Plum. I purchased mine from Nykaa for Rs. 266/- and its original price is Rs. 295/-. 

The texture of the lip balm is pretty thick. It is similar to Vaseline but a bit more thick. It hydrates your lips pretty well. It has a sticky texture when you apply it but it is nothing unbearable. It stays on pretty well but you might need to reapply it after you eat something. 

I use this lip balm at night. I like to apply a thick layer of this product and I wake up to nice and hydrated lips. So, it does the job of hydrating the lip balm well :)

Now, to conclude, if you do not want to use vaseline and you are looking for a lip balm to use then get this lip balm. This lip balm is vegan and cruelty free. I will update how the long term results are from this product if you guys are interested in reading that :)

Pros:

1. Nice smooth texture.

2. Hydrates lips well.

3. Affordable

4. Vegan and Cruelty Free.

Cons:

1. Strong initial fragrance (Some might not like it).
